It takes hardly fourty minutes driving from Stone Town; Jozani is the main forest in Zanzibar. The thickly forests wetland is a home for Red Colubus Monkeys that are rarely found on other parts of the world.

Other attractions are mangrove swamps with salt marshes, and huge varieties of tropical trees, reptiles, birds and butterflies.
