Location: An integral part of the skyline of Zanzibar , situated in the Stone town area 10 minutes from Zanzibar Airport and 5 minutes from Sea port.

Accommodation: With only five cottages at Pemba Lodge, it’s very peaceful and relaxed. Although the rooms are simple, and not for those who like their creature comforts, they are attractive and a lot of thought has gone into their design.

The rooms are identical – spacious, made from palm and thatch, retaining an authentic African appearance. Raised on stilts about a metre off the ground, which helps to keep them cool and capture the breeze, while the small wooden deck in front is a nice shady spot to sit and relax with a drink
